Scoliosis/Pettibon Spinal Correction

Dr. Andrew Becker specializes in the Pettibon System is a comprehensive rehabilitation program for the spine's hard and soft tissues. It uses seated x-rays for diagnosis, assessing progress and proof of treatment effectiveness. It tests each patient's ability to respond to care, and trains patients in home care for faster correction.  Pettibon enables the human spine to maintain its optimal structure for normal function. The System's use of specially developed weights and exercises directly acknowledges that lasting spinal correction is related to the strengthening of targeted muscles.  The Pettibon System reflects a paradigm shift in health care: a new emphasis on "whole" health that integrates provider treatment, nutrition, and other disciplines and assumes a higher level of patient involvement.  Above all, Pettibon embodies a desire to educate and innovate.  The proof is in the lasting results!

Spinal Decompression Therapy

Complete Wellness Chiropractic, P.C. offers state of the art Spinal Decompression Therapy which is a modern, non-surgical, motorized traction procedure that effectively treats back, neck and radiating leg and arm pain. This type of traction is very successful in relieving pain associated with spinal disc herniation, degenerative spinal discs, and facet joint syndromes.  Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine which changes the force and position of the spine. This change relieves the pressure off of the spinal discs. As a result, bulging or herniated disks may retract, taking pressure off nerves and other structures in your spine. This, in turn, helps promote movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids into the disks so they can heal quickly and properly.

Nutritional Assessment & Counseling

We provide specific recommendations on nutritional supplements and healthy food choices to enhance our patient´s return to optimal health. Do you know which supplements and vitamins are good for you?  With a BSN in Science and Nutrition, Dr. Andrew Becker can provide a structured, customized nutritional program based on your individual needs.

Medical Massage Therapy

Chiropractic Care & Medical Massage Therapy...complementary care for better health!  Physical Therapy treatment is utilized for managing musculoskeletal pain, supporting the body’s natural healing process following an injury and relieving chronic stress and anxiety.  Dr. Andrew Becker recommends medical massage therapy treatments such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, in conjunction with chiropractic care and corrective exercises. Massage is beneficial before and after chiropractic adjustments. Massage treatments help to warm the body and relax the muscles so the body is better prepared for your adjustments. The seemingly simple act of massaging sore or tight muscle tissue can have a profound impact on the body’s overall health. When the muscles and connective tissues become tight and restricted, this hinders mobility and intensifies pain. Massage helps to lengthen the connective tissues, which minimizes pain and restores a natural range of mobility to the body.
